Acupuncture is a versatile method of treating illness. It is a gentle approach that works for children as well as adults. An acupuncture session can treat general ailments as well as specific problems. When the patient presents with a common cold, this acute general ailment is easily resolved. With specific problems like sciatic pain, the goal of the treatment is to provide lasting relief. For chronic illness like asthma, migraines or digestive disorders, more time is taken to correct the underlying foundational issues. Loocie uses a variety of techniques to produce the most effective result.

Patients come in with a variety of reported problems but the most common are musculosketetal, respiratory and digestive issues. For muscle and skeletal issues like tendonitis, muscle spasms, joint pain, whiplash injuries and migraines, acupuncture is very effective in relieving the discomfort that go along with these problems. Even patients with foot pain like plantar facititis are successfully treated. For acute injuries like tendonitis, treatments may only be needed for two to three weeks and usually resolve completely.

For respiratory problems like allergies, sinus infections, bronchitis and asthma, acupuncture will often give excellent relief in a short period of time. Amongst the digestive issues that are seen in the Center, the most common complaints refer to irritable bowel syndrome, constipation/diarrhea, acid reflux, bloating and excessive weight gain.
