" NEW! Acupressure for Migraines and Stress-Induced Headaches"

This two hour seminar will focus on the mechanisms that make migraines so difficult to treat as well as points to use during an episode. We will also look at headaches brought on by stress and ways to prevent and treat symptoms. As with all acupressure seminars, there will be one hour devoted to actual hands on practice for participants to use these points effectively.

"New! “HOT UNDER THE COLLAR” -Acupressure for Menopause"

This seminar will focus on the myriad of symptoms women experience in menopause. Issues of hot flashes, insomnia, weight gain and memory problems will all be addressed. The group will learn acupressure techniques and point selection to best control symptoms. Discussions will focus on aging gracefully and maintaining good health through simple application of pressure points.

"Acupressure for the Wrist, Elbow and Shoulder"

This two hour seminar will be part lecture and part hands-on. In the first hour we will lay the framework for understanding how the Chinese Meridian system works and then focus on the dynamic interaction between acupressure points. The second hour will continue with point location and sample various disorders of the hand and elbow. Typical topics will include arthritis of the thumb and fingers, carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger and elbow tendonitis (tennis and golfers elbow) Treatment points will also be included for rotator cuff dysfunction. Each participant will find how simple pressure on specific points can alleviate common pain conditions.

"Acupressure Massage to Release and Manage Back Pain"

This two hour seminar will be part lecture and part hands-on. We will focus on understanding the typical causes of back pain differentiating between muscular versus structural issues. The second hour will continue with point location and learning about the dynamic interaction between acupressure points affecting the back. This seminar is designed to help manage pain at home whether it is acute or chronic in nature and participants will be able to quickly use what they’ve learned.
